Preschool Program

SVS has a flexible preschool program that fits both the child and parents needs. We encourage you to discuss our options with our principal on how we can best help your child succeed.

PK3: Preschool for 3-Year-Olds

Must be 3 by June 1.
Half day and full day options. 3 or 5 days a week.

  • A warm, play-based environment that encourages exploration and social-emotional growth.
  • Hands-on learning through stories, music, movement, and interactive activities.
  • Emphasis on independence, cooperation, and early foundational skills.

PK4: Preschool for 4-Year-Olds

Must be 4 by June 1.
Half day and full day options. 3 or 5 days a week.

  • Kindergarten readiness focus with structured activities in early literacy and math.
  • Development of creativity, problem-solving, and motor skills.
  • Faith-based learning woven into daily experiences.

TK: Transitional Kindergarten

  • Designed for students who need an extra year before kindergarten or a more advanced challenge but aren’t yet old enough for kindergarten.
  • Eases children into the structure of kindergarten while maintaining a play-based, hands-on learning approach.
  • Includes a flexible adjustment period to help students get used to wearing uniforms and following a more structured daily routine.
  • Focuses on confidence-building, early literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to prepare students for success.
