From the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston: As many of you are aware, the Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio, recently released a list of priests who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. Included in the list were the names of priests who have been stationed near, or who have celebrated liturgies and other events at parishes within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, including our Catholic Schools. The Diocese encourages anyone who may be the victim of abuse by one of these priests, or any priest in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, to contact your local authorities or the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment at (304) 233-0880.    Diocese of Steubenville Release.

Tuition Assistance

We want every family who wishes to give their children the gift of a Catholic Education to have the opportunity.

The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston is currently contracted with FACTS to provide the necessary grant and aid assessment needed to provide tuition assistance to our school families. ALL families are eligible to apply for Diocesan Assistance, Pre 3 through Grade 8. If you wish to receive ANY type of financial assistance from the school, parish or Diocese, you can only do so if a FACTS application is completed with all the required documentation.

The Adopt a Student Program is our parish/school assistance program. To qualify for Adopt-a-Student assistance, you must first complete the FACTS Grand & Aid application and also make an appointment with the parish pas(FACTS). Then you are eligible for Adopt-a-student whether or not you receive Diocesan assistance.
