Tuition Assistance

Making Catholic Education Accessible for Every Family

At St. Vincent de Paul Parish School, we believe every family who wishes to give their child the gift of a Catholic education should have the opportunity to do so—regardless of financial circumstances.

We are proud to accept multiple forms of financial assistance, including:

  • The West Virginia HOPE Scholarship – Learn more and check your eligibility at hopewv.com.
  • The Diocesan Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) – Offered through the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston to help families afford a Catholic education. Full information is available on the DWC Tuition Assistance page.
  • The SVS Adopt-a-Student Fund – Our own parish-supported program that helps bridge tuition gaps for qualifying families.

To be considered for any type of financial aid (Diocesan, parish, or school-level), families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application, including all required documentation. This includes families applying for TAP and those seeking support through the St. Vincent Parish Educational Fund (SVPEF).

Applying is simple and can be done online at www.factsmgt.com. If you need a paper copy, just contact the school office at 304-242-5844.

Once you’ve submitted the FACTS application, families requesting SVPEF assistance must also schedule a meeting with the parish pastor and accountant.

We will never deny a Catholic education because of finances. Let us work with you to make it possible.
